What is Radon in Water?
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive, colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that can be found in your water. Studies have found that Radon can cause serious health issues if consumed. The filter industry has long considered Aeration the most effective way for reducing Radon in water.
The Airaider systems use Aeration in a multitude of ways to remove Radon from the water. The Airaider tank is divided into four chambers, the first three chambers focus on using filtered air through diffusers to capture the gas in bubbles and then removes the Radon from the water. When the water has reached the forth chamber it is now ready for consumption. These systems can reduce the concentration of the Radon gas by up to 99%.
